Book Summary
A Time of Legends is book two in Chronicles of the Yellowstone Wolves. It’s about a pack of wolves in Yellowstone National Park, named the Druids. They are struggling to become the biggest and strongest wolves among the other wolf packs.
This book contains two parts. Part one is about when Wolf 21 and Wolf 42 are the alpha male and female of the Druids. They are trying to drive away Wolf 302, who is called the bad-boy of Yellowstone. He’s a coward but is popular with the females because he is so handsome.
Wolf 21 and Wolf 42 are not successful, and Wolf 302 mates with some of the females, who have pups. At every wolf fight, Wolf 302 runs away.
In the second part, Wolf 302’s nephew, Wolf 480 is the new alpha male. Wolf 302 is finally growing up, and he wants to make his own pack.
One day, Wolf 302 breaks up from the Druid pack with five yearlings to make their own pack. After a while, two females from another pack also join. Will Wolf 302’s leadership be enough to help the new pack?

Josie’s Thoughts on the Book
I would recommend this book to you if you like adventure stories about wild animals or wolves.
I liked this book because there aren’t many like it for kids, and because I like reading about animals.
This book makes me want to read the whole series. I can’t wait for book three to be released this year.
